Site work for a road / highway in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Removal of existing damaged guardrail sections installation of new guardrails up to 27 locations. The work description included in the Bid will include the removal of existing damaged guardrail sections, and the installation of new and replacement guardrail at up to twenty-nine (29) locations in Saugus, MA. Total guardrail quantity totals approximately 1,740 feet. All guardrail work associated with the Bid shall use Guardrail items 620.12 TL-2 (Single Faced), 620.13 TL-3 (Single Faced), 621.13 TL- 3 (Double Faced ) and 620.2 Steel-Backed Timber (Single Faced ). The guardrail locations will be confirmed by the City upon award of contract. The contract shall be for the period beginning on or about August 31, 2026 or as stated in the NOTICE TO PROCEED, WHICHEVER IS LATER and end on or before November 15, 2026. Questions are due 7/15/26 by no later than 11:00 A.M. any questions after that date and time will be rejected questions are sent to mwendell@saugus-ma.gov
