Site work for a military facility in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a military facility.
The work includes excavation and on-site storage of spoils, demolition and installation of electrical power distribution systems, directional boring of telecommunications lines, and installation and leveling of gravel. All activities shall be executed while maintaining site operations, with work generally performed during normal business hours. Certain utility shutdowns may be required outside of standard hours, including evenings or weekends. The site is contaminated, and all excavated materials must remain on site in accordance with applicable requirements. Completion is required within 300 consecutive calendar days. The project must be carefully coordinated to ensure continued operation of the facility while adhering to all constraints associated with contaminated materials management.
