Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Branchburg, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic protection devices associated with the vehicular detour proposed for this project; installation, maintenance, and removal of soil erosion and sediment control devices as shown on the plans; temporary support of existing utility pole; demolition and replacement of County Bridge No. D1003 with pre-cast rigid frame on cast-in-place footings and wingwalls; construction of cast-in-place reinforced concrete parapets with form-liner; and construction of roadway improvements. Bids shall be delivered in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the contract name and number, and bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to the Purchasing Agent at the County Administration Building, Purchasing - 3rd Floor, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876.
