The contractor shall provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, technical support, upgrades, and system management for all CCTV systems across the VA San Diego Healthcare System, including Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. Services include both planned preventive maintenance and on-demand repair support covering all equipment, storage systems, software, and firmware associated with Avigilon, Bosch, Pelco, and other legacy or compatible systems. Support includes on-site and remote services, software licensing, as well as installation of software and firmware updates as they become available. The work requires management of a fully distributed software system capable of multi-site, multi-server surveillance operations, ensuring continuous monitoring and compatibility with equipment from multiple manufacturers. The contractor shall also provide training programs for operators, administrators, users, and maintenance personnel. Service reporting is required after each maintenance or repair visit, including detailed documentation of work performed, replacement parts, service hours, safety checks, performance data, and recommendations for maintaining optimal system performance. The contractor must also identify and report any unsafe conditions or improper equipment usage. The effort will be structured as a one-year base period with four option years.
