Scope of work The successful contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform epoxy flooring installation over previously painted concrete or virgin concrete floors for various locations within the Newark Board of Education (NBOE, District) All questions shall be submitted in writing via the bidding platform prior to 2:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, July 8, 2026. The specific section and page number to which each question refers to is to be indicated. Answers will be provided at least seven days prior to the acceptance of bids. The Contractor must be pre-qualified with the State of New Jersey Department of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one or more of the following classifications: a. C008 General Construction b. C009 General Construction/Alterations & Additions c. C077 Painting-General. Two (2) Year Contract With An Option To Renew For One (1 ) Additional Two (2) Year Period The Newark Board of Education reserves the right to accept the Contractors estimate or to have the work performed by Newark Board of Education personnel or others.
