Drainage rehabilitation of the Kronsgart Drain, consisting of approximately 3.2km of drain excavation; construction of a berm and spoil pile on the south side of the drain, installation of Group 'A' and 'B' culverts, construction of rock rip rap drop structure and armouring the proposed channel at the existing bridge crossings with riprap starting from the east side of PR 332 in NW 4-4-1W westerly to NW 6-4-1W in the Municipality of Morris. The Work includes but is not limited to the following: A. Site 2 (Spillway) a. Reinstallation of stoplogs B. Site 4 (Canal and Dike) a. Toe Repairs and Slope Repairs at selected locations between the Canal Headgates and the Canal Spillway as shown on the Project Drawings b. Clear the site of trees, brush, fences, and obstructions occupying space needed for construction. No structure partially encroaching on the Owner's property or located so as not to interfere with construction operations, shall be removed unless specifically noted on the Drawings or directed by the Owner/Engineer. C. Construction and removal of a temporary riverside protection berm , including dewatering d. Construction and removal of a temporary Columbia Canal cofferdam Removal of the emergency cofferdam in the existing canal near the Jarvis Klapman Bridge f. Removal of the existing breached canal dike generally located between Jarvis Klapman Bridge and the Hydroelectric Plant, excavation for a new embankment keyway, and constructing a new embankment in accordance with the Project Drawings g. Salvage demolition for select cultural resources as defined in Specification 02050 h. Finished grading, slope protection, new asphalt walking path, grassing, and replacement of existing lights, benches, and other appurtenances that exist on the top of the dike The Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with the Project Drawings and Project Specifications. Michael Baker International, Inc. will make the Project Drawings and Specifications available upon bidders submitting Appendix - Non-Disclosure Agreement.
