The Work consists of the renovation of an existing spray pad at Michaelle Jean Park Norquay Community Centre, including removal of portions of the concrete spray basin, integrated wading pool, and broken spray features, and installation of new spray features. Tasks include mechanical and electrical renovations, construction of a new reinforced concrete spray basin, installation of site furnishings, and associated site repair. Major components include cutting and disposal of reinforced concrete, removal and disposal of select spray features and mechanical equipment, investigation and handling of water service lines, removal of existing spray equipment manifold, removal and reinstallation of benches, supply and installation of new spray features and spray equipment manifold, potential reorganization of mechanical room and adjustment of water/sewer connections, reprogramming of spray pad controller, directional drilling and hydrovaccing for service lines if required, installation of new concrete replacement sections, trench drains, and concrete pads, installation of site furnishings, site restoration including grading and sodding, and commissioning, winterization, and spring start-up of the renovated spray pad.
