Removal and replacement of existing roofing system including a 1,700 SF multilayer built-up roof and window repairs for a historic 1905 fire station. The work includes the repair and replacement of the building envelope at Station 6, located at 431 Willow Street, Waterbury. The existing built-up flat roof is to be demolished and replaced by a new 30-year warranty TPO roof with added insulation , new drains and parapet wall , and cap flashing . In addition, the existing brick is to have several areas repointed as on plans, including slight brick movements areas. Once complete, the entire brick exterior is to be coated with a siloxane water repellant system. Additionally, the existing window trim is to be removed and flashed properly with new trim to be installed . The existing windows are to remain in place. Finally, the attic will have the top 2 feet of exposed brick's jointing cleaned out to approximately one inch and repointed. See plans and details for other work related to this description. This does not include all the work further described on the plans General: Cooperate fully with separate contractors so work on those contracts may be carried out smoothly, without interfering with or delaying work under this Contract or other contracts. Coordinate the Work of this Contract with work performed under separate contracts.
