Renovation of a water / sewer project in Rio Rico, Arizona. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The contractor shall provide all design and construction services necessary to deliver a fully operational, turn-key building at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant to support advanced sludge dewatering and drying operations. Work includes site investigation, surveying, geotechnical analysis, and preparation of complete construction documents and technical specifications, along with coordination with stakeholders and regulatory agencies. The construction phase includes site preparation, demolition of existing belt filter presses and associated polymer system components, relocation of an existing three-sided metal structure, and construction of a new facility to house sludge dryer systems and associated equipment. The project also requires installation of all necessary utilities and systems, including water, sanitary sewer, communications, electrical, and fire protection, as well as commissioning and quality control testing to ensure a fully functional, code-compliant facility ready for immediate use. All work shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and the contractor is responsible for obtaining required permits and coordinating with utility providers.
