Central Highschool NHS - Resurface Parking Lots The National Park Service is seeking quotes for the resurfacing of parking lots at Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. The requested quote consists of two line items, one for the main visitor center parking lot and a second optional line item for the neighboring Mobil Station parking lot. All interested parties must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time a quote is submitted. Quotes must be provided on the attached Pricing Schedule, and only the items marked 'Due with Quote' in the Submittals attachment are required at the time of quote. The required submittals reference Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) specifications. A bid bond is due with the submission of your quote. 100% performance and payment bonds will be due within ten days of contract award. Offerors or quoters are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance. Base Bid - Visitor Center Parking Lot For the Visitor Center parking lot location only, conduct approximately 16,250 SF milling of existing asphalt pavement at 2" depth that includes haul off and disposal/recycling of millings. Sawcut full depth and remove approximately 4,402 SF of existing 3" depth asphalt pavement, 6" depth aggregate subbase, and filter fabric. Construct approximately 16,250 SF of 2" depth asphalt overlay including tack coat, 4,402 SF of 3" depth asphalt, 6" depth of aggregate subbase, filter fabric, and scarify/recompact existing subgrade to 6" depth. Construct approximately 2,222 LF of thermoplastic pavement markings, 13 thermoplastic pavement marking symbols for ABA parking spaces, directional arrows, and speed tables, 39 thermoplastic letters at 12" height, and 5 "Staff Parking Only" signs. Bid Option 1 - Mobil Station Parking Lot - For the Mobil Station parking lot location only, conduct approximately 1,914 SF milling of existing asphalt pavement at 2" depth that includes haul off and disposal/recycling of millings. Sawcut full depth and remove approximately 2,895 SF of existing 3" depth asphalt pavement, 6" depth aggregate subbase, and filter fabric. Remove approximately 12 concrete wheel stops and 73 LF wooden fence including posts, gate, and concrete footings. Construct approximately 1,914 SF of 2" depth asphalt overlay including tack coat, 2,895 SF of 3" depth asphalt, 6" depth of aggregate subbase, filter fabric, and scarify/recompact existing subgrade to 6" depth. Construct approximately 343 LF of thermoplastic pavement markings and 1 thermoplastic pavement marking symbol for ABA parking space. Construct approximately 73 LF of wooden fence including posts, gate, and concrete footings and relocate 1 existing sign.
