The work to be done under this contract consists, in general , of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, and for doing all work necessary to complete the Roof Replacement Project in accordance with the Contract Documents. Project #80139 Scope of Roof Replacement: Removal of existing roofing material with a new single-ply roof assembly. Prepare existing roof for the installation of a new single-ply roofing system detaching the existing coping flashing from the top of the parapet flashing and remove the existing roof hatch. Safely remove and store all exposed vertical pipes penetrating through the existing roof. Inspect and replace any damaged exposed vertical pipes resulting from wear and tear or damage incurred during the removal process. Safely remove and store all exposed horizontal pipes with bottom supports. Inspect and replace any damaged exposed horizontal pipes due to wear and tear or damage during the removal process. Bottom supports will be replaced with new supports. Remove all roof drains and overflow systems and prepare the surrounding area for installation of new roof drain and overflow combination assembly. Protect and leave all existing HVAC units in place. Remove all existing single-ply roofing systems, including those over all cricket areas. Retain all tapered roof insulation. Patch, repair, or replace any damaged tapered roof insulation to ensure positive drainage. Replacement of the existing City Hall roof, which is at the end of its lifespan.
