Site work for a transportation facility in Frederiksted, Virgin Islands. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) hereby invites all licensed, and qualified General Construction to participate in its Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the installation a new rotating beacon with a 45 tip-down pole and housekeeping concrete pad; and the removal of the existing beacon, beacon tower, and concrete pad at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The project also entails the provision and installation of an emergency generator, providing power supply to the new beacon, making improvements to the surrounding gravel pad and gravel access road, and replacing the perimeter fence and vehicle gate.
