Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in East Troy, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work includes the East Troy Multi-use Trail Extension from Mill Pond Park to Honey Creek Ct, consisting of excavation (825 c.y.), asphaltic surface (563 ton), concrete curb and gutter (324 l.f), sawing (1,040 l.f.), base aggregate dense (1,444 ton), RRFB (4 each), culvert pipes 12"-48" (179 l.f.), concrete barrier (459 l.f.), apron endwalls 12" & 18" (11 each), concrete sidewalk (2,610 s.f.), manholes (7 each), clearing and grubbing (5 sta.), and pavement marking (965 l.f.). The work includes trails or multipurpose trails, pavement marking, pedestrian improvements, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, ADA curb ramps, sitework excavating and grading, curbs, stormwater improvements, signage, and paving (asphalt or concrete). Bidders must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid as a guarantee, with a minimum of 30% of the contract amount required to be constructed by the prime contractor. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price, together with an executed contract in the prescribed form, will be required of the successful bidder. The Village of East Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award a contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
