Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, services, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace existing carpet and install new carpet within B1000 Lower Level 1 corridors and private office spaces. The scope includes the purchase and installation of approximately 1,450 square yards of new corridor carpet and 300 square yards of office carpet, along with the removal of existing carpet and the reuse of salvageable carpet tiles in office areas. Work involves installation using specified manufacturer products and methods, including monolithic installation and glue-down application. The contractor shall coordinate phasing and sequencing of carpet removal and replacement, provide a construction schedule, obtain required permits and clearances, and ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Additional responsibilities include handling work in secure areas with government-provided escorts, adhering to environmental and safety requirements, maintaining clean and safe workspaces, disposing of debris and excess materials properly, and restoring all areas to original or better condition upon completion. The contractor shall also provide a final report documenting quantities used and salvaged, ensure compliance with OEM guidance, support quality assurance inspections, and comply with all applicable security and controlled information handling requirements.
