All questions pertaining to the terms and conditions or scope of work of this Request for Bid (RFB) must be sent in writing (e-mail is acceptable) to the City Procurement Manager and shall be received no later than 10:00 EST on 07/29/2026 SCOPE OF WORK E-mail - purchasing@stpetebeach.org The city is seeking qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and incidentals necessary to renovate an existing public restroom facility located within a public park directly across from a public beach. The restroom is a high-use public facility that is exposed to a coastal environment, including salt air, moisture, sand, and heavy pedestrian traffic . The renovated facility shall provide a durable, low-maintenance, ADA-compliant restroom designed for long-term serviceability and ease of cleaning. The renovation shall remain within the existing building footprint. No building expansion is anticipated unless specifically required by applicable codes and approved by the city. ADA Compliance The renovated restroom facility shall be designed and constructed to fully comply with current ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), Florida Building Code Accessibility requirements, and all applicable accessibility standards. Work shall include, but not be limited to: ADA-compliant restroom layouts. Required clear floor spaces and maneuvering clearances. Accessible toilet compartments and fixtures. ADA-compliant grab bars and accessories. Accessible lavatories and mounting heights. Accessible door hardware and opening clearances. Required signage and accessibility markings. The Contractor shall verify all dimensions and accessibility requirements during design and construction.
