The Work includes upgrades to the facility's electronic safety and security systems, including structured cabling, video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection. New Category 6 cabling shall be provided to support IP-based security systems, with reuse of existing cabling where suitable. Video surveillance and access control systems shall be modernized with updated hardware, software, servers, and workstations , including integration between systems to support alarm-based video functionality. Intrusion detection enhancements and protective glazing shall be provided to improve perimeter security. All systems shall be fully tested, commissioned, and documented in accordance with applicable standards to ensure reliable and compliant operation.
