Existing Landscape Removal and Preparation The Contractor should remove and properly dispose of all unwanted vegetation, weeds, overgrowth, dead plant material, and accumulated debris from existing landscape beds and planting areas designated for improvement. Existing metal landscape edging should be carefully removed, modified, relocated, and reinstalled as required to create defined, self-contained planting area and to support the revised landscape design. Landscape beds should be reshaped and graded as necessary to provide proper drainage, improve appearance, and prepare planting areas for new landscape materials. 2. Plant Material Installation The Contractor should furnish and install new landscape plantings in locations identified by the Owner or Owner's Representative. Suggested plant material should be included, but is not limited to: Wormwood Gaura Echinacea All plant material should be nursey-grown, healthy, disease-free, and suitable for the climate conditions. Planting should include excavation, soil preparation, amendments as required , installation, watering, and stabilization to ensure successful establishment.
