Greater Amsterdam School District 140 Saratoga Avenue Amsterdam, New York 12010 Bid Item No. 1 - Field Directive Allowance: The Plumbing Contractor shall include in his Total Base Bid a cash allowance in the amount $5,000.00 for Work Directive Changes as authorized by the Architect/Project Manager in accordance with pertinent provisions of the General Conditions of the Construction Contract. 1. Alternate No. 1 - Cafeteria Bench Seating a. Add for all materials, labor & equipment to provide bench seating within Cafeteria E18 as detailed on Contract Drawings A900 & A901; and as described in related specification sections. Alternate shall include bench seating, partial height wall, garbage / recycling counter, and concrete block column enclosure. 2. Alternate No. 2 - Cafeteria Flooring Replacement a. Add for all materials, labor & equipment to replace existing vinyl floor tile & related wall base within Cafeteria E18 as detailed on Contract Drawings AD100 & A900; and as described in related specification sections. Alternate shall include new luxury vinyl tile (LVT), rubber tile (RBT), rubber stair treads (RST), and related resilient wall base. Base bid shall include new resilient wall base at scattered servery wall. 3. Alternate No. 3 - Cafeteria Ceiling Replacement a. Add for all materials, labor & equipment to replace existing acoustical ceilings & related metal grid suspension system within Cafeteria E18 as detailed on Contract Drawings AD300 & A300; and as described in Specification Section 09 5100. Alternate shall include replacement of both higher 2x4 and lower 2x2 soffit ceiling systems. Base bid shall include painting of existing higher 2x4 ceiling tile & suspensions system; as well as modifications of existing ceiling systems to accommodate new Scattered Servery and related gypsum soffit.
