Bryan County is soliciting bids from experienced and qualified General Contractors who are interested in submitting a proposal and entering a contract for the various types of road improvement work including but not limited to installation of asphalt milling, base repair, asphalt paving striping and shoulder reconstruction. The Scope of Work shall include various methods of asphalt including the installation of various depths of asphalt, 12.5 mm Super pave, Undercutting, Grading and rolling (compacting) along portions of Harden Road, Dog Lane, Pave Animal Control Parking Lot, and two driveways in unincorporated Bryan County as per the maps incorporated into the bid documents. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and latest revisions to the Georgia DOT Specifications for all construction in conjunction with the project. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of thebase bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder upon award of the contract.
