Work includes remediation of slope instability, roadway repairs, and restoration of the primary water distribution line. The project consists of a single site located along and adjacent to Trace Branch Road in the Hazard community of Perry County. A large slope failure, encompassing approximately 1.25 acres, has significantly impacted Trace Branch Road. Perry County continues to perform routine maintenance on this section of roadway to ensure continued access for the sixteen residents located beyond the slide area, as this roadway represents the sole means of ingress and egress. In addition to roadway damage, the ongoing slope instability has resulted in repeated failures of the primary water distribution line serving these residents Award is subject to final approval.
