Full renovation of the farmhouse located at Tufts Farm. Purchase Description/Scope of Services The Town is requesting bids for the following: Tufts Farmhouse Renovation. The work performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: selective demolition and replacement of damaged wood, electrical, plumbing, heating, replacement of walls, floors, ceilings, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, windows, doors etc. The farmhouse is a historical structure requiring the windows, doors and fireplace room to be restored with like/kind materials. The barn, workshop and fields are under a lease agreement, requiring the selected contractor to describe its plans for site security, access, staging, etc. Bidders must submit their plan for securing the site throughout the project, including additional precautions during the demolition of doors and windows. The plan should include the logistics for storage and material laydown areas, dumpster locations, and contractor parking.
