Reference Number 0000430292 A brief summary of Work for which the Bid is requested consists of: Contractor shall repair of approximately 50 Valves in various locations around Town. Map will be provided to contractor for each valve location. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and traffic control necessary to rehabilitate existing distribution valves to restore full operability. Work shall include removal and replacement of corroded or damaged bolts, operating nuts and operating stems, inspection of internal components, and replacements of valve wedges as required. Contractor shall exercise each valve after work is completed to verify proper operation. All components shall be installed in accordance with manufacture recommendations and applicable standards. Upon completion valves should be left open in operable position unless specified otherwise by Town Utility management.
