The Town of Hingham (the Owner and Awarding Authority) is accepting sealed bids for the electrical relocation work at the South Shore Country Club located at 274 South Street, Hingham , MA 02043. Question Deadline 07/24/2026 at 11:00 AM ET Bidders requiring additional information, or interpretation of the specification and bid documents, must make request for such information through the question section of the electronic bid portal. Should the bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the plans, specifications, or other contract documents, or should the bidder be in doubt as to their meaning, it should be submitted through the portal prior to the submission deadline. All bids for the project are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sections 44A and 443 , Chapter 30, 39M and to minimum wages as required by M.G.L. Chapter 149 Sections 26 to 27H inclusive. Prime Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management ( DCAMM ) in the following category of work : Electrical Communication including questions from the site visit are to be uploaded exclusively through online. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids when required to do so by the above referenced General Laws or if it deems it to be in the public interest to do so . The Awarding Authority also reserves the right to waive any informalities in any bid based on the public interest to proceed . The Town anticipates a fully executed contract approval by end of August 2026. A 5% bid security (bond or certified check) is required with each bid. For fully executed bid bonds, scan and upload them as part of your electronic bid submission.
