Site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Trinidad, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construction of electrical building additions and installation of medium-voltage (MV) electrical equipment at Richland Chambers Lake Pump Station (RC1) and Cedar Creek Lake Pump Station (CC1). Question Deadline 08/06/2026 at 12:00 PM CT Questions are to be submitted using the Question-and-Answer process on the Procurement Website. The primary purpose of this project is to improve the safety and reliability of the existing pump stations, Richland Chambers Lake Pump Station (RC1) and Cedar Creek Lake Pump Station (CC1), by replacing the medium -voltage (MV) electrical equipment in the new electrical buildings. RC1 has six pumps driven by 5,500-horsepower (hp), 4,000-volt (V) induction motors. The Brazos Electric Power Cooperative-owned substation has two dedicated transformers that provide power to the existing 4,160 V main-tie-main ( MTM ) switchgear in the pump room . The switchgear powers MV soft starters that operate the pump motors. Following are the specific improvements at RC1: Add new environmentally controlled Electrical Building; Replace the existing MV equipment and 480 V motor control center (MCC); Add new MV variable frequency drives (VFDs) for the pumps; Remove existing MV switchgear, soft starters, capacitors, and harmonic filters; Add anew low-voltage diesel generator for controls and security system power; Add new air handling units (AHUS) and chillers; Replace existing Modicon Quantum Programmable Logic Controller ( PLC) and Remote I/O (RIO) units with new Modicon M580 PLC and X80 units; Modify existing Alerton heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) controls and integrate them into the station control system; Add limit switches to pump isolation butterfly valves; Site grading, paving and drainage improvements; Reroute and replace existing fiber optic cable; Run new Fiber optic cable to the new electrical building; and Reroute the power feeder to the existing microwave building. CC1 has six pumps driven by 3,000 hp, 4,000 V induction motors. The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD)-owned substation with two transformers provides power to the existing 4,160 V MTM switchgear in the pump room. The switchgear powers MV soft starters that operate the pump motors. Specific improvements at CC1 include: Add new environmentally controlled Electrical Building; Replace the existing MV equipment and 480 V MCC; Add new MV VFDs for the pumps; Remove existing MV switchgear, soft starters, capacitors, and harmonic filters; Replace the substation transformers and secondary termination structure with larger units to accommodate future upsizing of the pumps (existing six 3,000 hp pumps will be replaced with six 5,500 hp pumps) ; Replace the substation control house and replace existing 138-kilovolt (kV) substation relays with new protective relays; Add low-voltage diesel generator for controls and security system power; Add new AHUS and chillers; Replace existing Modicon Quantum PLC and RIO units with new Modicon M580 PLC and X80 units; Modify existing Alerton HVAC controls and integrate them into the station control system; Replace the existing pump control valve actuators; Add limit switches to pump isolation butterfly valves; Site grading, paving, and drainage improvements; Reroute and replace the existing fiber optic cable; and Run new fiber optic cable to the new electrical buildings.
