Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Delmar, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,968-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
A. The County is seeking bids from qualified Vendors to contract for Mason Dixon Athletic Complex Renovation - Phase 2 in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation. B. Architectural - Project consists of Constructing a new one-story Covered Patio, Concessions, and Public Restroom Building approximately 6,970 square feet along with an associated parking lot and additional site improvements. The building is a slab on grade with wood framed exterior walls and a masonry water table on strip footings. Steel columns with masonry piers flank each side supporting glued-laminated roof beams with wood roof decking. The roof framing over the central enclosed building consists of conventional wood trusses with roof sheathing. The roof is a fiberglass/asphalt shingle roof. The interior walls are wood framed with gypsum board and FRP panel finish. The floor finishes consist of a resinous floor coating that transitions into a wall base. The ceilings are stained and sealed exposed roof decking or painted gypsum board. The plumbing is standard. C. Civil Project consists of Site Clearing, Earth Moving, Excavation and Backfill for pipelines and structures, Erosion & Sediment Control , Termite Control, Bituminous Paving, Portland Cement Concrete Paving, Sidewalks, & Curbing, Surface System for Asphalt Courts, Landscaping, Turf & Grasses, Wain Mains and Appurtenances, Sanitary Sewerage, Storm Drain Systems, and Environmental Site Design.
