Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Lakeside Union School District Security Cameras and Speaker Clocks Locations- Lakeside School, located at 14535 Old River Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93311. Suburu School, 7315 Harris Rd., Bakersfield, CA 93313. The following items are included in the contractor's scope of work for this project: 1. New Category 6A cables will be installed to each designated camera location on each campus. 2.New patch cable will be provided with each Cat6/6A cable outlet installed. 3. New Category 6 cables will be installed to each designated air quality sensor location on each campus. 4. All necessary site conduit and pathway systems, including; trenching, conduit, and/or pull boxes, stubs, j-hooks, surface mount raceway, and surface mount boxes required for the new cable. 5. Provide all copper patch cords , as specified in the construction documents. 6. Installation of surveillance cameras as shown on the project drawings. 7. Installation of PoE+ injectors terminated at corresponding IDF cabinets. 8. specifications and programming meetings with the owner. Provide and install all new speaker clock devices shown on the project drawings. 9.Programming of surveillance cameras per the project 10. Provide testing, labeling, and warranties as specified in the construction documents. Surveillance camera devices 1. contractor will provide programming and installation as follows: a. outdoor camera i. shall be pre-programmed and tested off-site, to the fullest ability of the contractor, prior to beginning on site work or installation of equipment. il shall be programmed and connected to the owner's network switches supplied equipment at the site moriof. ii . contractor will coordinate with the district it staff for appropriate vlans, ip address schemes, and naming conventions. iv. the contractor is responsible to install the patch cables to complete the connection, as required unless otherwise instructed by the owner or owner's representative. b. licensing i. the contractor shall provide all licensing as required and described in these documents. il the contractor shall install all licensing as required by the manufacturer to provide a complete and operable system at the time of turnover to the owner Intercom devices 1. contractor will provide programming and installation as follows: a. indoor speaker/clock combo i. shall be pre-programmed and tested off-site, to the fullest ability of the contractor, prior to beginning on site work or installation of equipment, ii shall be programmed and connected to the owner's network switches supplied equipment at each site moradf. ii. contractor will coordinate with the district it staff for appropriate vlan's, ip address schemes, and naming conventions. iv. the contractor is responsible to install the patch cables to complete the connection, as required unless otherwise instructed by the owner or owner's representative. b. licensing i. the contractor shall provide all licensing as required and described in these documents. !l the contractor shall install all licensi only a Contractor with a C-7 or C-10 license may bid. All bids shall be presented under digitally and accompanied by one of the following forms of bidders security: cash, a cashiers check, certified check, or a bidders bondexecuted by an admitted surety insurer, made payable to the trustees. The security shall be in an amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount bid. A Payment Bond and Performance Bond for contracts over $25,000.00 WILL BE required prior to the execution of the contract a satisfactory Faithful Performance Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price and separate Payment (labor and material) The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. The District's priority is to have the speaker system installed before the first day of school on August 12, 2026, if feasible.
