Security gates replacement work includes removing the existing North and South entry barricade gates and installing two new gates, each 4 feet tall and 24 feet wide. The project includes providing and installing electronic gate operators and associated safety systems fully integrated into the existing door security system, along with installation of safety bollards. Contractor Requirements Technical Requirements: Remove existing barricade gates. Install two new 4 ' tall x 24' wide gates. Set all gate posts in concrete footings. Install electronic gate operators with 1 - hp operator system including safety edges, detectors, heater, and keypad pedestal at north and south parking lot entrances. Boring of two conduits to each operator from closest electrical panel, including installation of six handholes with covers - 3 for low voltage, and three for power. Two concrete pedestals for card readers Installation of two 120V dedicated circuits Two Lenel-compatible card readers and one LNL-1320-S3 module All cabling, underground conduit tie-ins, and Lenel remote programming Install 8 steel bollards (6" diameter) - 4 in north entrance and 4 in south entrance, set in concrete to protect operator and card readers from vehicles, equipment and traffic. 4.0 Deliverables and Schedule Performance Period: 90 days after notice to proceed The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 90 calendar days.
