Deadline to submit questions for this RFQ is July 22, 2026 by 10:00am SUMMARY OF WORK: Installation and replacement of two (2) existing trash compactors for Beachcrest Apartments A & B. buildings. SCOPE OF WORK 5/19/2026 o Remove existing trash compactors and haul them away. o Replace the lower broken section of the trash chute at 'B' building where it meets the compactor hopper. Replace broken/missing trash door and frame 2nd floor of 'A' building. Install new fusible links connecting trash chute door to trash chute. Purchase and install a new apartment style compactor, 5hp 3 phase power unit, fully automatic, photo eye controlled, operator and all wiring. 54 cubic yard/hour displacement. A new Chute Source CP1/CP2 Compactor will be the basis of design or equivalent. Check wiring, breakers, connecting whips, to operator. Replace as necessary any broken, non-functioning, or unsafe items. o Replace existing electrical disconnect as needed. . VIF (Verify in Field) dimensions of old unit and match existing to that of current unit for size, function, requirements of building.o Revised August 2019 Provide new ratchet binders, and flared hopper add-on. o Color: paint standard blue o Purchase and provide 8 - 2-yard front load containers. 4 for each building (A & B buildings). o Salvage any old front load containers that may be viable for use at other properties. Project Contingencies : For this project add $5,000 for any unforeseen conditions.
