Site work for a water / sewer project in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of modifying the existing Hannum’s Mill timber crib low-head dam on the South Skunk River in Story County, Iowa, including partial dam removal, in-stream grade stabilization, streambank grading and stabilization, and related site restoration. Work includes in-stream construction, dewatering, rock riprap placement, erosion control, and restoration of disturbed areas. Sealed bids for the work comprising improvements as stated must be filed by 9:30 A.M. according to the clock in the office of the Story County Administrative Building Auditor’s Office. Bids received after the deadline for submission of bids shall not be considered and shall be returned to the late bidder unopened. Sealed bids will be opened publicly and bids tabulated.
