Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hartley, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Installation of a High Intensity Activated Crosswalk Beacon (HAWK), sidewalk, pavement markings, and related improvements at the intersection of Highway 18 and 6th Ave W. The scope includes categories such as water utilities, electrical and controls, roadway pavement markings, traffic control devices (signals, signing, etc.), traffic control flagging, concrete pavement, ADA curb ramps, bored conduit, stormwater improvements, signage, concrete pavement removal, and temporary erosion control. Sealed proposals for the work comprising the repair or improvement must be filed in the office of the City Clerk Administrator. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or technicalities in any bid, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City of Hartley.
