Reference Number 0000435304 The Town of Lake Placid is seeking a qualified contractor to construct the Lake June Park Pickleball Complex, an eight-court outdoor, lighted pickleball facility located at 501 Jackson Road, Lake Placid, Florida (Parcel ID No. P-36-36-29-090-0041-0000). The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project . The project generally includes: site preparation and earthwork; subgrade and base construction; asphalt paving and acrylic color-coat surfacing of eight pickleball courts (arranged in two back-to-back rows of four); perimeter and divider fencing, gates, and net systems; a complete LED sports lighting system including new electrical service and utility tie-in; stormwater drainage improvements (culvert, headwalls, control structure, swales, and sodding); stabilized parking and drive aisles; concrete sidewalks, ADA-compliant accessible parking and signage; erosion and sedimentation control; and all associated site restoration, survey, and closeout requirements, all as more particularly described in Section 0006 — Scope of Work and shown on the Construction Plans (Exhibit A). The Contractor shall be solely responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and closing out all required local, state, and federal permits necessary for execution and completion of the project, including, without limitation: (a) a Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) modification for surface water management, and (b) a Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Notice of Intent (NOI) for coverage under the Construction Generic Permit, as applicable. The Contractor shall comply with all permit conditions and coordinate all required inspections, testing, approvals, and documentation.
