Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Vacherie, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the construction of a 27,763-square-foot, one-story above grade religious / funeral development; and religious / funeral development.
Scope: The project includes a new 27,763 sf, single-story, multi-purpose building for the St. James Parish Government. The buildings main use will be to host community and sports events, while providing space for local fitness programs and other activities for the citizens of St. James Parish. The building also includes other support spaces such as offices, restrooms, concession, kitchen, storage, and lease space for local ambulance services. The building’s structure is a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) frame with a sloped standing seam roof. Walls generally consist of cmu, brick veneer on metal studs, metal wall panels on metal studs and/or PEMB wall girts. Site improvements include new concrete parking and sidewalks, grading, subsurface drainage, and extension of utilities to the site.
