Description

Demolition, remodeling and renovation of a detention facility in Crest Hill, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a detention facility; for the renovation of a detention facility; and for the remodel of a detention facility.

Demolition of the Stateville Correctional Center facility. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the demolition and removal of approximately 50 structures throughout the project area. Within these structures, testing will be conducted to identify Asbestos containing materials and Lead based paints, and when encountered, proper abatement procedures will be adhered to during construction operations. Additionally, portions of the utility services connecting to the house will be removed with the remainder being abandoned in place.
