Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 777-square-foot, one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Development of Parc Central: the installation of water features with a recirculating system, the construction of a technical building of approximately 72 m2 including two universally accessible toilets, a mechanical room, a technical room, an electrical room and a caretaker's lodge TIMELINE: Contract for architectural services for the preparation of the project design and construction work monitoring has been awarded following request for proposals # AO 21378. Reference number: 20137378. Tender call is anticipated in March, 2027. Inauguration is scheduled for summer, 2027. Further update in late 2026. Note: Request for proposals # AO 21378 included construction and reconstruction work of technical buildings, water features, aquatic pools and other support infrastructure in the following parks: Parc des Optimistes; Parc Paul-Marin; Parc Central; Parc Bureaux; Parc Bevédère and Parc Saint-Boniface. The total budget for construction and reconstruction of these buildings is estimated at $17,000,000.
