The contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, equipment, and permits necessary for the replacement of Building 5 Automatic Doors and Building 60 Entry Doors, including procuring and replacing doors, locksets, door closers, door sensors, and associated components. The scope includes removal and proper disposal of old equipment, installation of new roll up doors, door buttons, key switches, glass panel doors, handicap buttons, and related components. Work must comply with VHA, OSHA, EPA, and Mass DEP standards and follow the most stringent applicable codes. All product data and shop drawings require COR approval prior to installation. The contractor is responsible for scheduling field work, maintaining a clean site, repairing any damage caused, and coordinating with VA staff for safety and utility shutdowns. All on-site work shall be performed during specified hours unless otherwise approved. The contractor must also comply with all site management, access, and safety requirements, including maintaining ICRA barriers and submitting a safety plan. o RFIs: The due date for submission of Requests for Information (RFIs) is extended to August 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM EST.
