Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Manassas, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.

Replacement of existing pedestrian bridge and stream stabilization including construction of riffles, step pools, and log/stone structures. Work involves bank regrading, installation of erosion and sediment controls, temporary stream diversion, site grading, demolition of the existing structure, and restoration of disturbed areas with matting and native vegetation. The new bridge will be constructed to accommodate pedestrian and maintenance access and will be coordinated with the stream restoration to ensure long-term stability and hydraulic performance. PART A. REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING WOODEN BRIDGE Lump sum price for demolition of existing pedestrian wooden bridge, and construction of a new pedestrian bridge. Structural components include abutment, framing members, decking, railings, and connection details as specified in the structural plans. All work is to be completed in accordance with the project plans and applicable design standards. PART B.- CIVIL AND STREAM STABILIZATION Civil and stream stabilization work includes site grading, demolition, installation of erosion and sediment controls, temporary stream diversion, and restoration of disturbed areas . The work also includes installation of grade control features such as constructed riffles, step pools, and log/stone structures to stabilize the stream bed and banks, reduce erosion, and restore natural channel function. Stream banks will be regraded and stabilized with matting and native vegetation, and all in-stream work will be performed in accordance with erosion and sediment control requirements. All work is to be completed in accordance with the project plans and applicable design standards Question Deadline 08/11/2026 Bidders must so act to assure that questions reach the A/E at least six (6) days prior to the time set for the receipt of bids to allow a sufficient time for an addendum to reach all bidders before the submission of their bid
