Site work and paving for a road / highway in Covington, Louisiana. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana Contractor's license in Highway, Street and Bridge. The work consists of mill and overlay of asphalt pavement with full depth patching. Every request for interpretation shall be made in writing and addressed and forwarded to the Engineer, Architect or person distributing plans and specifications. No inquiry received within three (3) days prior to the day fixed for opening of the bids will be given consideration. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218.A.C, in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and payable without conditions to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute a Contract in accordance with his proposal and all terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.
