.1 The work of this Contract consists of the supply and installation of materials, including all labour, equipment and tools related to upgrading the Norbury Lake Campground, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications, and for the prices tendered in the Schedule of Quantities and Unit Price Table. .2 Unless otherwise noted all materials and furnishing are Contractor supplied .3 Components of the work are generally described as follows: Mobilization and demobilization to and from the Project Site, Layout and post construction markups to drawings, environmental controls Removal of existing pit toilets (above and below grade infrastructure). Removal of various existing posts & footings, signs, and concrete slabs. Removal of existing water faucets, hand pumps and grey water systems. Brushing, clearing and grubbing of proposed campsite expansion and parking stall. Reclaiming (re-naturalization of) previously disturbed areas in campgrounds and each campsite. Site directed grading work for furnished areas Installation of approximately 370 m of 50mm PEX waterline through existing narrow campground trail alignment Trail alignment resurfacing following watermain installation. Installation of 3x Service Pods including garbage and recycling receptacles, water standpipe, and grey water disposal, septic disposal field, complete with gravel surrounds Installation of 1x Garbage Pod including garbage and recycling receptacles complete with gravel surrounds. Installation of 6x new Panabode Toilets and concrete Vault/lids. Panabode Toilets to be Stained with Proluxe Primary RE Teak 085 two coats Refurbishing of 46x existing Campsites. Each shall include: o 1x new Contractor supplied picnic tables w/ BBQ stands and 8x10x6 contractor supplied concrete table pads. o 1x Number post (Owner Supplied) o 1x Fire Ring (Owner Supplied)o o Gravel surfacing to 150 mm thickness to extents shown with 3:1 compacted slope to ground. Finish surface moisture adjusted, graded level and compacted. Installations of telespar posts and road signage Grading and general road improvements (minor widening and shoulder work) to existing vehicularcirculation roads including overlay of 75 mm thickness high fines surface aggregate HFSA Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca Award is subject to final approval.
