Renovation of a fire / police facility in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Repair, preparation, skim coating, and repainting of deteriorated first-floor interior walls, including removal and reinstallation of electrical devices, wall-mounted accessories, and dispensers to achieve a paint-ready finish. Questions concerning the Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to the City no later than 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Responses and any revisions to the Contract Documents shall be made only by written addendum issued by the City. Oral interpretations shall not be binding. Any addenda will be issued no later than Friday, July 31 , 2026. The project generally consists of the repair, preparation, skim coating, and repainting of the deteriorated first-floor interior wall located in the kitchen/day room area of Diamond Fire Station No. 2, as depicted in Exhibit A1. The work includes all visibly deteriorated plaster surfaces, including loose, cracked, delaminated, and damaged plaster, together with all surface preparation necessary to produce a smooth, paint-ready finish. The Contractor shall remove and reinstall electrical devices, wall-mounted accessories, dispensers, shelving, and similar items as necessary to complete the work and shall protect all adjacent cabinets, countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, flooring, ceilings, and Fire Department equipment throughout construction.
