Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC, as the management and operating contractor for the Idaho National Laboratory, is seeking vendors capable of designing, manufacturing, testing, and delivering four 20-inch, 300-lb tilting-disc check valves for use at the Advanced Test Reactor. The valves are critical safety-related components installed on the discharge side of high-capacity pumps and must support safe and reliable reactor operations. The equipment must be constructed from specified stainless steel materials, incorporate hard-surfaced or nitride wear areas, and be designed in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III, Division 1, Class 1 requirements. The scope includes providing complete valve assemblies with integrated hydraulic dashpot mechanisms to control closure timing, position indicator assemblies for transmitting valve status, and configurations consistent with designated INL drawings or approved equivalents. The valves must meet defined performance requirements for flow rate, pressure, temperature, closure time, leakage, and operational stability, while also ensuring compatibility with the specified chemical and radiation environment. Vendors are required to perform comprehensive testing and inspection, including hydrostatic pressure testing, nondestructive examinations, and full operational performance testing. Deliverables must include all necessary documentation such as drawings, recommended spare parts lists, and certificates of conformance. Vendors must demonstrate the capability to meet nuclear-grade quality standards, provide required documentation, and comply with applicable data control and export requirements.
