Demolition, site work, environmental remediation and renovation of a municipal facility in Hammond, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for environmental remediation for a municipal facility.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This work shall include, but is not limited to, the permanent closure via removal of four (4) 12,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs) and the procurement and installation of four (4) new replacement USTs of the same capacity at the Hammond Port Authority Marina in the City of Hammond, Lake County, Indiana Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. COMPLETION DATE : This work shall be completed by January 31, 2027 , with a substantial completion date of December 14 , 2026 . Please note that the Hammond Contracting Board only meets once per month , at the first Monday of every month at 6:00 pm in the Inspection Department Conference Room . The deadline for submitting an application and required information for a Hammond License is one week prior to the meeting.
