Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Hammond, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

Bid Category No. 8 - Electrical Bids received after such time will be returned unopened. Bids may be withdrawn prior to such time, but no bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days thereafter. Bids shall be for complete construction only, properly executed and submitted on Form 96, accompanied by executed Form 96A (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts) giving financial data as recent as possible, and a Non-Collusion Affidavit together with other documents as required by the instructions to Bidders and addressed to The Trustees of Purdue University, clearly marked with the project and the bid opening date. No performance bonds are required for this project. Bids for Work shall not include the Indiana Sales Tax for materials to be incorporated into this project. The owner will provide necessary tax exemption forms. Each bidder must deposit with this proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid payable to the Trustees of Purdue University as bid security. A corporate surety approved by the owner will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Attorneys-in-fact who sign bid bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their power of attorney.
