Verbal questions and / or replies will be considered invalid. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Phase 1 of the project consists of the construction of a new intake system and new watermain from the shoreline to the existing pumphouse in the Town of Centreville-Wareham-Trinity. The project will replace the existing intake system and extend it further out into Northwest Pond and will also replace the existing on-land portion of the intake system from Northwest Pond to the existing pumphouse. The project will provide better quality water at the new intake and resolve the current stagnant water drawdown issue at the old intake near the shoreline. It will also remove the need for constant maintenance/silt removal and will alleviate the drawdown of silty water into the existing system.
