Design services to investigate, analyze, and address structural deficiencies of Building 8 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, with the objective of renovating the space into a safe and functional facility for Facilities Management Services staff. The work includes performing detailed assessments to determine the most cost-effective solution, which may involve renovation, complete demolition, and/or reconstruction. If demolition is required, the A/E firm will design the demolition plan; if reconstruction is determined to be in the Government's best interest, the new building must maintain the same footprint and square footage. The A/E firm shall provide all basic professional services in accordance with the scope of work, supporting project development through design completion within a 365-day period, including required VA reviews.
