Design and construction of a new public works maintenance garage building to supplement the existing municipal facility. BASE BUILDING REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Building Size and Configuration o Base Bid Structure: 40 feet (width) x 60 feet (length) 20-foot eave height o Single-span structure o 2:12 sloped gable metal roof 3.2 Structural System o Pre-engineered metal building system Fully insulated wall and roof assemblies Designed in accordance with all applicable local , state, and national codes3.3 Overhead Doors o o Two (2) insulated sectional overhead doors Door size: 16 feet wide x 16 feet high Each door includes vision panels/windows 4. INTERIOR SPACES 4.1 Maintenance Bays Open maintenance garage space. Approximately (2) 20 feet wide x 50 feet long bays. Single catch basin centered in each bay. Suitable for large vehicle maneuvering and storage. 4.2 Office Area Small office space for administrative use including office furniture indicated by City. (See Appendix drawings) Separate heating and cooling system . 4.3 Toilet Room o Single-user restroom. Code-compliant fixtures.
