Drain swimming pools and relieve hydrostatic pressure, if necessary. B. Hand chip, chisel and remove all loose plaster. If necessary, cut out and repair where reinforcing steel is coming through. Under-cut and hand chisel below tile, around returns and other fixtures as required. Cut and repair all cracks. C. Acid wash pool interior thoroughly from the coping line down to the clean etched surface to insure Proper adhesion of new surface to old. Neutralize acid wash. D. Apply Bond Kote to pool interior in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. E. Install new slip resistant bull nose tile on facing of steps and water line as per Florida Health Department regulations. Re-grout all new tiles with Chemical resistant grout. Tile should match current pool tile color. F. Replace any broken tile on coping and gutter tile. Re-grout all new tiles with chemical resistant grout. G. Replace faded or broken No Diving and depth marker tile. H. Apply Diamond Brite/Florida Gem to pool interior, color and type to be determined by the City of Pembroke Pines. This product is to be batch mixed and hand troweled to a smooth and even finish. Then it is to be Acid Washed and/ or Water Washed to expose color aggregate. Tile breaks to be replaced with new tile. I. Install new Virginia Graeme Baker Act Pool Compliant main drain frames and grates - supplied by the City of Pembroke Pines. J. To prevent staining of the new Diamond Brite a special water purification system (charcoal filter tanks) must be set up. K. Completely balance new pool water with all necessary chemicals, including stabilizer, which will bring water up to Health Department standards. L. Pool deck and surrounding areas must left in the same condition as before work started. M. Include all permit costs. Inspections to be determined by The City of Pembroke Pines. All Installations must be made in accordance with local codes governing such installations.
