The City Commission of the City of Pembroke Pines is seeking sealed proposals for: CDBG-MIT Waste Water Treatment Plant Emergency Power System Replacement The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals related to the replacement of one existing generator and the installation of one new generator at the existing space in the West Main Electrical Building - Generator Room located at the Pembroke Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 13975 Pembroke Road, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027. The work shall include, but it is not limited to, demolition/removal of the existing generator, exhaust, silencer, interior fuel piping, day tank, removal of existing wires, etc. and the removal of the existing trailer-mounted generator and associated connection after the first new generator is fully operational and approved by the Engineer/Owner. A new master generator paralleling control panel shall be provided as per specification for generator paralleling function. The structural modifications include, but are not limited to, the removal of the louvers in the Generator Room, other generator attachments and support systems, and installing new louvers, generator silencer support system, new wall penetrations, new generator shroud, etc. The work also includes all associated mechanical, structural, instrumentation and control, electrical, and restoration of the Generator Room, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation.
