Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 68-unit multi-residential development.

The Contractor is responsible for the supply and installation of quartz countertops for all cabinets and vanities in housing apartments, as needed. The work includes, but is not limited to: field-verifying measurements of each unit; matching cabinet and countertop configurations to design documents; drilling countertop openings for plumbing faucets; filling and touching up all joints and imperfections; removing existing kitchen or bathroom plumbing fixtures; inspecting all cabinet and vanity installations; submitting quartz joint layouts for review; using specified quartz brands or approved equals; protecting adjacent surfaces during installation; providing a single-square eased edge profile; shimming, leveling, and installing all countertops with manufacturer-approved methods; installing quartz countertops behind kitchen ranges when required; installing a 4-inch backsplash and caulking edges; providing vanity extensions over toilets where permitted; field measuring all cabinets and vanities prior to fabrication; inspecting bar support brackets prior to installation; preparing countertops for top-mount basins; performing all work in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes; maintaining a clean work area; protecting adjacent work; providing all labor, equipment, and temporary facilities necessary for performance; coordinating with other trades; and ensuring all work is complete and functional per applicable regulations. Upon completion, inspection by the City's Project Manager is required, and any rejected work must be corrected at the contractor's expense. All workmanship and products must be warranted for a minimum of six months from acceptance or installation, whichever is later. The Contractor must use its own workforce or City-approved subcontractors, and not subcontract additional portions of the work without approval.
