Removal of existing handrails and decking down to bridge girders. Installation of prefabricated decking panels and handrails as specified in bridge designs. Application of herbicide as specified in bridge plans. The following is a sample of the work Oconto County is looking to do at this time: a. Demolition and removal of existing bridge decking. Salvage and reinstall any existing signage. b. Installation of 532' x 12' clear width laminated timber traverse decking and timber railings to existing steel girders. a. Removal and installation to be built as specified in included engineered plans and specification sheets. b. Bridge re-deck system shall be accomplished with laminated transverse timber deck panels. Deck panels shall be delivered to the job site after being assembled at a fabrication plant. c. Herbicide treatment of vegetation growth from the top of the pier caps and abutments. d. Site prep and regrade final approaches to be completed to ensure bridge sits at trail grade. a. All areas disturbed by the contractor without the authorization of the county shall be restored by the contractor at no expense to the county. e. Contractor will pull any permits necessary. f.
