Kitchen renovation services involving labor, materials, and equipment procurement in accordance with project specifications and prevailing wage requirements. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. (Kitchen Renovation) The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid . Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Kitchen Renovation installation, before removal of equipment and scaffolding , contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Kitchen Renovation: Cover all Smoke Detector heads throughout the working areas. Demolition of entire kitchen and removal of all debris daily. All studs must be exposed for CEO or DDSO officiate for inspection if they are rotted. All work to cease till Scope of Work and Quote for new materials are produced. Sink drain connections to be supplied new to stack. (cast iron as required, no PVC) Sink, and all drain lines to be vented according to NYS Plumbing Code. All flooring to be removed to substrate for CEO or DDSO officiate for inspection and if floor is buckled or sloped removal of that area to inspect floor joists and beams for corrections. All work to cease till Scope of Work and Quote for new materials are produced. Solid wood cabinet colors as specified. (Attached) Cabinet hinges as specified in Design. (satin) A visual inspection of opened walls and demo'ed areas must be completed before any install of new GWB is performed. (See above for change orders) A visual inspection of all wall insulation to take place after the demo of walls. Replace as necessary. A PRE visual inspection of all electrical components, plumbing lines, drain lines and beams must be performed prior to re installation of new materials.
